Recipe for Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate Hot Cocoa with a little spice!

Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate Hot Cocoa


  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons HERSHEY'S Cocoa for a light chocolate flavor or 2 tbsp for richer flavor
  • Dash salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Dash of cinnamon and cayenne pepper


Stove top instructions: Heat milk, stirring often, on medium heat in a no-stick saucepan , gradually stir in dry ingredients into milk, sprinkle with cinnamon and cayenne pepper 

For the microwave: Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in large mug.  Heat milk in microwave at HIGH (100%) 1-1/2 minutes or until hot, gradually add the hot milk to mug and mix well, add cinnamon and cayenne pepper to taste.

Can add whipped cream if desired
